Job summary

Highland Homes is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to build and maintain customer-facing websites and applications. The role involves front-end and back-end work, database design, XML feeds, and continuous improvement of functionality and user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience is required (7+ years with high school diploma).
• Minimum 3+ years of full-stack development in a PHP/LAMP environment.
• 3+ years of database development with MySQL or similar.
• 1+ years experience with Vue.js or other front-end framework (Angular, React, etc.).
• Expertise with Git and repository management.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Laravel and XML is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development and maintenance of front-end and back-end systems.
• Deliver well-designed, tested code following best practices.
• Collaborate on architecture and user experience improvements.
• Communicate progress with project teams and stakeholders.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for websites and apps.
