Job summary

Opiniion is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to build and improve our primary web application, owning meaningful areas of the product with minimal oversight. You will work across the stack, ship features, and support a fast-moving engineering team in Lehi, UT.

You will collaborate with teammates on backend services, frontend work, and DevOps tasks, applying thoughtful architectural decisions. Our stack includes Vue/React/Node.js, SQL/NoSQL, Docker, and AWS, with a culture of autonomy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Node.js API skills with ownership of high-traffic services.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL skills with performance-driven design.
• Frontend experience with Vue/React/Angular and architectural pattern adherence.
• Experience with Docker, GitHub, and AWS in production systems.

Responsibilities

• Own backend API services, improving performance, security, and reliability.
• Write code, review PRs, and participate in architectural/product discussions.
• Complete DevOps or frontend tasks when necessary for a project's success.
