Responsibilities

• Opens and readies the food service department during service hours
• Provides prompt and courteous service to customers
• Communicates effectively with store associates
• Follows all federal, state and local laws and store policies
• Controls food preparation to reduce waste while ensuring enough supply
• Treats all associates with dignity and respect
• alerts store manager to personnel issues affecting performance
• Assists in training new associates on job duties
• Ensures proper shift procedures are followed
• Maintains a safe shopping and working environment
• Follows safety rules and uses protective equipment
• Uses current plan-o-gram layouts
• Informs Manager of special needs or requests
• Monitors inventory to prevent stockouts and controls ordering
• Promotes Huck’s Bucks Loyalty app to customers
• Explains app benefits and assists with sign-up and use
• Monitors for misuse of loyalty points or discounts
• Helps customers redeem points and discounts
• Maintains appearance of the food service area per company standards
• Keeps display cases and glass clean; reports issues promptly
• Keeps food service areas clean and follows sanitation procedures
• Ensures ladders are used properly and lifting procedures are followed
• Uses wet floor signs per policy and enforces safety
• Reports accidents promptly to Store Manager and Corporate office
