Job summary

Crafton Tull is seeking a Field Surveyor to assist the Crew Chief in determining elevations, lines, and contours for construction and land projects. The role centers on precise measurements and safe field practices.

You will operate survey equipment, mark measurement points, maintain gear, and support a team in a safety-sensitive environment. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 100 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Knowledge of survey field procedures and equipment
• Valid driver’s license with clean record

Responsibilities

• Holds level or stadia rod at designated points to assist in elevations and staking
• Operates land survey equipment as directed by the Party Chief
• Marks points of measurement with elevation and station numbers
• Marks measuring points with appropriate marks
• Places stakes at designated points and drives them to the required elevation
• Cuts and clears brush and trees from line of survey
• Maintains, cleans, and services survey equipment and vehicles
• Performs other duties as assigned
