Job summary

Crafton Tull, a 100% employee-owned planning, design, and surveying firm, seeks a Field Surveyor to assist the Party Chief in surveying land, determining elevations, lines, and contours for construction and land division. This Safety Sensitive role requires attention to detail, ability to operate survey equipment, and willingness to travel extensively; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience/training encouraged.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and short correspondence.
• Knowledge of CAD, GIS, GPS and survey equipment; willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Assist Party Chief in surveying land to determine elevations, lines, areas and contours.
• Operate land survey equipment as directed by Party Chief.
• Mark measurements and elevations, place stakes, and assist with field layouts.
• Maintain survey equipment and vehicles; perform other duties as assigned.
