Job summary

Blue Kangaroo in the United States is seeking a District Manager to lead operations and financial performance across multiple laundromats. You will drive store improvements, ensure operational excellence, and provide leadership to store teams.

You will monitor KPIs, oversee revenue and expenses, and implement strategies to improve profitability and customer experience. Travel will be required to visit locations and coach Store Managers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a District Manager or in a similar leadership role within retail, service, or operations management.
• Demonstrated success in managing financial performance and driving operational improvements.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions.
• Flexibility to travel frequently and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations and performance of assigned laundromat locations through KPIs such as revenue growth, operational metrics, and employee performance metrics.
• Regularly visit stores to conduct operational audits and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
• Identify and implement strategies to enhance store performance, customer experience, and profitability.
• Monitor and manage financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability for each store.
• Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers to ensure accountability and high performance.
• Monitor customer feedback and work with Store Managers to address issues proactively.
• Ensure all equipment is in working order and oversee maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to maintain stock availability.
• Conduct quarterly reviews of store operations, including financial performance and team productivity.
• Implement and uphold company policies and procedures to ensure consistency across all locations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management.
