Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking an experienced carpenter to plan, lay out, and perform a full range of carpentry work in accordance with project plans and codes. You will work across crafts as needed, supported by a strong safety mindset and a focus on quality and efficiency.

The role emphasizes reading and interpreting drawings and specifications, collaborating with supervision, and maintaining positive team relationships while delivering high-quality work on schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year (level I) experience in industrial/commercial construction and understanding of carpentry trade.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members.
• Produce high quality work safely and productively at all times.
• Ensure materials, tools, equipment and information are available for the work.
• Seek opportunities to improve tasks and share knowledge with others.
• Demonstrate high proficiency in related trade mathematics.
• Inspect subordinates' work for accuracy and compliance with plans and specifications.
