Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license with minimum 4 years of experience or EIT on track to attain PE with 5 years of experience.
• Sound mathematical skills required.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Valid driver's license & reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Supports project team toward preparation of plans and specifications.
• Conducts engineering computations for complex projects.
• Communicates with governmental staff regarding design concepts.
• Performs quality control of work and reports on project status.
• Monitors compliance to codes, practices, and specifications.
• Responsible for design concept of plans and specifications.
• Advises field engineers, contractors, and inspectors on construction.
• Assists in preparation of project proposals.
• Promotes new business for the company.
