Job summary

SEH in Omaha, NE, is seeking a Civil Engineer - Land Development / Municipal to join our Civil team and support planning, design, and delivery of transportation, municipal, and site development projects.

Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to craft designs for roadways, trails, sidewalks, utilities, and site improvements; prepare construction plans, specs, quantities, and cost estimates; coordinate with clients and project managers; travel for meetings and site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
• Ability to collaborate in‑office
• Ability to travel as needed for meetings, client consultations, and site visits.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, and delivery of transportation, municipal, and site development projects. Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop designs for roadways, trails, sidewalks, utility systems, and site improvements.
• Prepare construction plans, specifications, quantity calculations, cost estimates, and technical reports for public and private infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to support successful project delivery.
• Perform site visits, field reviews, and construction observation activities as needed.
• Manage assigned project tasks and communicate progress to project teams and supervisors.
