SEH in Omaha, NE is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our employee‑owned Civil team. You’ll gain hands‑on experience on municipal roadway and utility projects, in the field and office, and collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients.

As an intern, you’ll draft project information with AutoCAD, assist with construction observation and surveying, and support design tasks while learning from experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Willing to report to Omaha, NE office several times per week during school year; full-time in summer.

Responsibilities

• Join a collaborative team on municipal roadway and utility projects both in-field and in-office.
• Assist field staff with on-site construction observation, surveying, and staking.
• Assist project managers with development and design tasks; maintain communication with staff, contractors, and clients.
• Draft project information accurately using AutoCAD and related software.
