Job summary

Wiley|Wilson is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Richmond, Raleigh, Lynchburg, or Alexandria team. You will design civil systems, act as engineer of record for smaller projects, and support larger efforts under supervision, with exposure to multiple markets.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program, a PE license in VA or NC (or reciprocity), 4–6 years of site/civil design experience, and proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D; strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Virginia or North Carolina, or ability to obtain reciprocity within three months.
• 4–6 years of progressive civil/site engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Design civil systems including grading, drainage, utilities, and hydrology.
• Serve as engineer of record for smaller projects under supervision.
• Lead field investigations and support construction administration (shop drawings, RFIs).
