Job summary

Wiley|Wilson is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our team across our Virginia and North Carolina offices, including Alexandria, Richmond, Lynchburg, and Raleigh. You will design civil systems for a variety of site development projects and act as engineer of record on smaller assignments under supervision.

The role requires 4–6 years of experience, PE eligibility or licensure within three months, and proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• PE license in VA, NC, or ability to reciprocity within three months of hire.
• 4–6 years of progressive experience in civil/site engineering design.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design civil systems including grading, drainage, utilities, and hydrology for site development projects.
• Serve as engineer of record for smaller projects and support larger efforts under supervision.
• Lead field investigations and assist with construction administration (shop drawings, RFIs).
