Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Analytics, or related field.
  • Experience with Workday, UKG, Automation/AI, and ServiceNow.
  • Experience with Operational Excellence and/or Six Sigma process improvement.
  • Ability to develop documentation and training materials.
  • Ability to partner with business units to implement effective solutions.
  • Proven track record in process improvement and self-service adoption.

The Employee Lifecycle & Data Operations Specialist is a key contributor within HR Solutions, responsible for ensuring accurate and timely entry and maintenance of employee worker and personal data. This role serves as an important resource for Human Resources, managers, and employees by helping ensure data quality at the point of entry and supporting effective transaction processing across the employee lifecycle. The role is responsible for enhancing data accuracy, supporting adoption of employee and manager self-service tools, and helping reduce manual processes across HR operations. This individual will apply knowledge of HR systems, data structures, and business processes to improve execution, support operational efficiency, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The role also supports the broader HR Solutions team through collaboration, workload balancing, documentation, training support, and participation in special projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Human Resources, managers, and employees with accurate and timely worker and personal data changes in Workday.
  • Enter, review, and audit employee job and compensation data to ensure a high level of accuracy, completeness, and compliance with department standards.
  • Provide guidance and expertise on data validation at the point of entry to improve data quality and promote best practices.
  • Understand the employee lifecycle and connect employee and manager self-service transactions to key data changes, including onboarding, job changes, compensation changes, supervisor changes, and company transfers.
  • Apply knowledge of HR technology, data structures, and transaction processing impacts to support accurate and effective data management.
  • Help drive adoption of employee and manager self-service tools to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency.
  • Provide flexible support across the HR Solutions team to balance workloads and ensure backup coverage for other activities across the organization.
  • Lead small process improvement projects, ensuring goals, workstreams, and timelines are met for various initiatives and cyclical projects.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures and training materials for the Data Management team.
  • Maintain established productivity and quality levels based on department standards.
  • Prioritize workload effectively and provide timely follow-up and resolution on requests and issues.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Support additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

Preferred Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience with Workday, UKG, Automation/AI, ServiceNow
  • Experience with Operational Excellence and/or Six Sigma process improvement methodologies
  • Experience developing documentation, standard operating procedures, or training materials
  • Ability to work with business partners to understand needs and help create effective solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to support process improvement and self-service adoption efforts

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range: $40,000.00 - $74,340.00 Compensation Type: Exception Hourly Incentive Eligible: No Sales Commission Eligible: No Disclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors. The actual compensation will depend on elements such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation. Our compensation range is generally based on the national average for the country.
