Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced HR professional focused on employee and labor relations within a healthcare environment. You will maintain positive employer/employee relationships, develop and coordinate HR policies and training, and advise management on personnel issues to support a compliant, fair workplace.

The ideal candidate possesses an advanced HR degree and recognized certifications, with prior HR experience in healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or related field with two years of professional HR experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or related field with four years of professional HR experience.
• PHR or SPHR certification and/or SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
• Experience with an emphasis in employee and/or labor relations.
• Recent work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive employee and labor relations; support and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Develop, coordinate, and maintain policies, programs and training with emphasis on employee/labor relations.
• Advise hospital and management staff on employee and labor relations issues.
• Promote positive employer/employee morale and healthy working relationships.
• Assist in arbitration preparation and review of legal inquiries.
• Investigate employee issues and provide sound judgment aligned with policies.
• Advise management on counseling, disciplining or terminating employees as needed.
• Assist management with grievance procedures.
