Job summary

Sugarloaf is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Employee Housing team this winter. The role emphasizes maintaining employee housing buildings, public spaces, and exterior access areas on a rotating shift schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Starting hourly wage is between $19-21, depending on experience. The position requires a valid driver's license and may involve cross-site maintenance duties across resort lodging facilities.

Qualifications

• Prior general maintenance experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to resident and building needs to support a well-maintained environment
• Conduct regular building walk-throughs to identify and address maintenance or safety concerns
• Complete work orders spanning carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general repairs
• Set up, clean and inspect assigned work locations
• Remove snow and ice from entrances and walkways, applying sand or salt as needed
• Restock supplies regularly and monitor inventory levels
• Identify and document maintenance issues and report them promptly for resolution
• Secure resident belongings left in rooms and report found items to the Facility Manager
• Assist in other resort lodging locations and public spaces as operational needs require
• Assist with maintenance projects as directed by Facility Manager
