Job summary

Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation is seeking a full-time Lift Maintenance Technician to join our winter operations team. The position requires working outdoors in all weather, day or night, and performing installation, maintenance, and repair of lift equipment.

A 4-day, 10-hour shift pattern with overtime is typical, with compensation starting at $20–$28 per hour depending on experience. Candidates should have at least 3 years of lift maintenance experience, be able to ski or snowboard, and work

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing ski area equipment.
• Millwright or apprentice with ski industry experience is a plus.
• Must be able to ski or snowboard safely and responsibly.
• Must be able to work safely in a team and independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and access lift operations using motorized vehicles.
• Scale and maintain lift towers up to 130 ft to ensure safe operations.
• Troubleshoot and work with high- and low-voltage controls; read diagrams and manuals.
• Repair and service lift equipment, bearings, sheave trains, and grips.
