Job summary

AdventHealth in Manchester, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead the Employee Health and Workers’ Compensation program on a PRN, on-site basis. You will establish operational hours, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and guide policy implementations across the department.

The role requires RN licensure with strong knowledge of employment regulations, confidentiality, and collaboration with internal and external contacts to support staff well-being.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• RN license; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in Employee Health/Worker's Compensation preferred.
• Knowledge of Federal and State employment regulations.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and implements hours of operation for the department.
• Oversees staffing mix and departmental policies for Employee Health and Workers’ Compensation.
• Ensures compliance with State and Federal regulations; maintains records and reports.
• Administers medications safely and communicates with internal/external contacts.
• Attends depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings regarding workers’ compensation.
• Oversees daily operations of the Employee Health Department.
