Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's Immanuel Campus in Omaha seeks an Employee Health RN to safeguard staff well-being and foster a healthy workplace through expert assessment and intervention.

You will provide comprehensive occupational health services including pre-employment screenings, immunizations, injury assessment, case management, and health education for employees, partnering with Infection Prevention and HR to maintain compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Assess workers' health during pre-placement screens and refer as appropriate.
• Perform occupational health testing and initiate interventions and referrals.
• Document services and protect confidentiality of employee health records.
• Collaborate with Infection Prevention, HR, and Workers’ Compensation to ensure policy compliance.
• Deliver immunizations and case management as part of occupational health.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Employee Health RN working at our Immanuel Campus off of 72nd & Sorenson Pkwy, you will serve as a critical clinician, safeguarding the well‑being of our dedicated staff and fostering a healthy, thriving workplace community through expert assessment and intervention.
Every day you will deliver comprehensive occupational health services, including complex pre-employment screenings, immunizations, acute injury assessment and management, case management, and proactive health education for our employees.

To be successful in this role you will combine advanced clinical expertise with exceptional organizational and critical thinking skills, a compassionate approach, and a proactive commitment to promoting the health and safety of our valued employees, ultimately contributing to a healthier and stronger organization.

• Utilizes nursing skills to assess the health of workers during the pre-placement health screen, recognize symptoms and refer as appropriate.
• Provides oversight for scope of work per local regulatory requirements
• Performs testing procedures, initiates appropriate interventions and referrals
• Documents related to services provided.
• Maintains and ensures confidentiality with employee health records
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary departments including Infection Prevention, Human Resources, Occupational Health and Workers Compensation to ensure regulatory, compliance and CSH policies are met.

Job Requirements

Required:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required
