Description

As part of the Rec Center at Wisteria Team, reporting to the Manager of the Rec Center at Wisteria, you will provide exceptional, safe service by fulfilling different roles throughout the day, depending on the needs of the center.

Essential Functions

(The following are general illustrations and not all-inclusive.)

Welcome Desk:

• Greet guests warmly, answer questions, complete documentation, and process payments accurately.
• Tour prospective members and register new members according to protocol.
• Operate the Point of Sale system efficiently.
• Handle cash and execute daily financial reporting and cash drops.
• Troubleshoot and resolve member issues politely and efficiently.
• Receive delivery orders, confirm accuracy, and execute opening and closing checklists.

Center Attendant:

• Maintain a welcoming, clean, and well-stocked gym floor.
• Assist guests with equipment use, safety, and storage.
• Re-stock supplies, communicate inventory needs, and perform routine cleaning.
• Ensure equipment maintenance per schedule.

Fitness Instructor:

• Facilitate at least 7 group fitness classes per week, tailoring to participants' needs.
• Maintain necessary certifications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Guest service orientation, reliability, positive attitude.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Les Mills Instructor certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Optional: NASM, ISSA, or ACE certification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handle pressure, communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and be flexible with scheduling.
