Job description

About the Opportunity

The Employee Experience Manager is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving the end‑to‑end employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. This role owns all major employee touchpoints, from onboarding and career milestones to recognition, transitions, and departures, ensuring employees feel supported, valued, and engaged at every stage of their journey. This role brings a white‑glove, service‑oriented mindset to a high‑growth technology environment, leveraging modern tools, automation, and AI to deliver consistent, high‑quality experiences at scale for onsite, hybrid, and remote employees.

Key Responsibilities
Employee Journey & Lifecycle Ownership
  • Own and design the full employee lifecycle experience, including onboarding, role changes, promotions, leaves, relocations, recognition, and offboarding.
  • Ensure all employee touchpoints are intentional, consistent, inclusive, and aligned with company culture and values.
  • Serve as the experience owner for “moments that matter,” ensuring timely communication, clarity, and personal connection.
Onboarding & Integration
  • Lead the onboarding experience for new hires across all locations and remote environments.
  • Develop structured onboarding journeys that support rapid integration, productivity, and belonging.
  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, IT, and People Operations to ensure seamless transitions from offer acceptance through first 90 days.
Experience Design at Scale
  • Design thoughtful, employee‑centric experiences that balance personalization with scalable systems and automation.
  • Leverage digital tools, AI, and automation to deliver personalized experiences without creating manual burden.
  • Build playbooks, standards, and workflows that enable consistent execution across offices and regions.
Employee Programs & Engagement
  • Design and manage employee programs that support engagement, connection, and recognition.
  • Own recognition strategies, milestone celebrations, and internal culture moments.
  • Support in‑office, remote, and hybrid engagement initiatives to ensure equitable experiences.
Feedback, Insights & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead employee experience listening efforts, including lifecycle and pulse surveys.
  • Analyze experience data and employee feedback to identify friction points and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with People Leadership to translate insights into actions and measurable improvements.
  • Ensure internal communications scale effectively across offices, geographies, and remote teams while maintaining a cohesive employee experience.
Internal Employee Communications
  • Own and manage internal employee communications across the organization, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, and accessible.
  • Serve as the central point of ownership for employee‑facing content and communication standards.
  • Leverage Slack for timely, real‑time updates and announcements, and Confluence and SharePoint as the source of truth for structured, searchable documentation.
  • Design communication frameworks that support key employee moments, including onboarding, performance cycles, promotions, organizational changes, and company‑wide updates.
  • Continuously improve internal communication effectiveness by gathering feedback, monitoring engagement, and refining content structure and delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Employee Experience, People Operations, Workplace Experience, Program Management, or a related role.
  • Proven experience owning and improving the end‑to‑end employee lifecycle (e.g., onboarding, promotions, transitions, offboarding).
  • Strong experience designing scalable, repeatable employee programs while maintaining a high‑quality, employee‑centric experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage systems, automation, and digital tools to deliver experiences at scale.
  • Experience managing internal employee communications, including clarity on what content lives where (e.g., Slack vs. Confluence vs. SharePoint).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • High empathy and strong judgment when handling sensitive employee situations.
  • Data‑informed mindset with experience leveraging feedback, surveys, or engagement metrics to improve employee experience.
Preferred Experience & Attributes
  • Lead with empathy and design experiences that genuinely support employees.
  • Care deeply about the small moments that shape how work feels day‑to‑day.
  • Build systems that make people’s lives easier, not more complicated.
  • Use tools and technology to add clarity and connection—not replace human judgment.
  • Naturally thoughtful, observant, and intentional in how work gets done.
Location and Work Environment
  • This is a hybrid role based out of our Reston, Virginia office, which serves as Seekr’s headquarters and is home to our People and Culture team.
  • The role follows an in‑office schedule on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (for all staff in this office), with flexibility to work remote on Wednesday and Friday.
  • We offer company provided lunches weekly for employees in the office.
  • Free on‑site parking is available for all staff at our Reston location.
