Job summary

Seekr is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own major product areas across our AI platform, designing for AI engineers, data scientists, domain experts, and executives. You’ll lead discovery, architecture, and end-to-end design in a fast-moving SaaS environment, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering on foundational surfaces.

You’ll drive design systems and AI-accelerated prototyping, shaping roadmaps and delivering high-quality specs for implementation.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of product design experience in SaaS, enterprise, or technical platform products.
• Demonstrated systems-level design skills for complex workflows and scalable IA.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and design systems.
• Fluent AI-assisted design and prototyping tools in current workflow.
• Strong product judgment and ability to work autonomously in fast-moving environments.
• Experience leading discovery research: personas, workflows, usability testing.
• Proven collaboration with Engineering with detailed specs and constraints.
• Portfolio showing end-to-end ownership of major product areas (0‑to‑1 or early-stage).
• Strong written and verbal communication to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Willingness to reside near Austin, TX; Reston, VA; or SF Bay Area and work 3 days in office.

About the Opportunity

Seekr builds explainable AI for enterprises, government, and regulated industries. We're hiring a Senior Product Designer to own major product areas across our AI platform, designing for a wide range of users: AI/ML engineers, data scientists, domain experts, and enterprise stakeholders. You'll work within a small, focused design team in a fast-moving product org, partnering directly with Product and Engineering on foundational platform surfaces with room to grow into specialized AI domains.

What You'll Own

• End-to-end product ownership: Own discovery, design, delivery, and iteration across major product areas, not just execution handoffs
• Systems-level UX: Define information architecture, interaction patterns, and reusable UX frameworks for complex, multi-step enterprise AI workflows
• User discovery and research: Lead discovery with technical and non-technical users; synthesize findings into UX strategy, interaction models, and validated product direction
• AI-accelerated design execution: Use AI tools to compress ideation and prototyping loops, getting from concept to working, interactive prototypes faster while exercising strong design judgment
• Design system stewardship: Contribute to and extend the Seekr design system in Figma, supporting new platform capabilities and enterprise use cases
• Cross-functional partnership: Partner with Product and Engineering to shape roadmap tradeoffs and technical constraints; produce specs and prototypes that enable high-quality implementation

Required Qualifications

• 6 to 10+ years of product design experience on complex SaaS, enterprise, or technical platform products
• Demonstrated systems-level design skills: complex workflows, information architecture, and scalable interaction frameworks
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including working within and evolving a shared design system
• Fluent, active use of AI-assisted design and prototyping tools in your current workflow, not experimental exposure
• Strong product judgment; comfortable operating autonomously in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• Experience leading discovery research such as defining personas, mapping workflows, and validating solutions through usability testing
• Proven track record collaborating with Engineering through implementation, including detailed specs and navigating technical constraints
• Portfolio showing end-to-end ownership of major product areas, ideally in 0-to-1 or early-stage work, with clear problem-solving depth and craft quality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to articulate design decisions and tradeoffs to both technical and executive stakeholders
• Reside near Austin, TX, Reston, VA, or the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work 3 days per week in office

Preferred / differentiating skills (strong plus)

• Experience designing for technical users such as AI/ML engineers, developers, data scientists, or MLOps practitioners
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts: LLMs, RAG, agents, model training and inference workflows, or MLOps platforms
• Experience designing enterprise platform surfaces such as access controls, administration, or multi-tenant systems
• Experience with data visualization, analytics dashboards, or real-time monitoring interfaces
• Background in high-growth startups or early-stage platform products
