Job summary

Civitas Senior Living seeks an Employee Engagement Coordinator to oversee rounds, training, and staff development at the Tyler, TX community. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Make rounds to ensure community standards; report to the department Director if corrections are needed.
  • Support marketing tours as required; guide prospective residents through the discovery process and collect deposits.
  • Assist the Wellness Director with budget oversight related to employee relations and employee recognition events.
  • Schedule candidate interviews and conduct initial interviews for wellness and other departments as needed.
  • Organize orientation and training sessions for new employees in Memory Care (MC) and Assisted Living (AL).
  • Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and in-service training for all staff.
  • Manage staffing schedules and PTO; monitor overtime in the wellness department.
  • Provide employee coaching, validation, and observation; report performance feedback to the Wellness Director.
  • Ensure new employees demonstrate competency in their assigned roles.
  • Collaborate with other directors to celebrate special achievements as part of the Passion Program.
  • Serve as on-call support for employee inquiries during the week and share on-call responsibilities on weekends with other management.
  • Assist with weekly medication audits and MAR audits as needed.
  • Support cycle tasks when necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations regarding residents’ rights.
  • Follow and communicate company policies and procedures.
  • Attend required training sessions as directed by your supervisor.
  • Support Passion Program initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Must be willing to travel as needed to support community operations and training initiatives.
