Job description

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Optimize and support our intranet channel, helping to provide actionable insights and enhancements.
  • Create and manage digital content for internal use at nVent, including intranet posts, video, photography, television screens, PowerPoints, and other multimedia content.
  • Build responsive relationships with highly visible leaders and content contributors.
  • Ensure email announcements are compelling and accurate, reaching the right audiences at the right time.
  • Partner with Investor Relations, Social Media teams, External Communications and Marketing to align messaging.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing or closely-related discipline is required.
  • Ideally 1+ years of communications experience, preferably internal.
  • Video and audio editing experience.
  • PowerPoint design experience.
  • Social media tools and other digital trends experience.
  • Intranet management experience, with preference for Unily.
  • Growth mindset: passion for learning and continuous development.
  • Excellent presence, including strong verbal and presentation skills.
  • Strong interest in people and how workplace relationships can support or hinder communications.
  • Resourceful, highly adaptive to change; pivots easily and effectively between team and independent work.
  • A demonstrated sense of urgency in meeting deadlines.
  • Grit, self-reliance, and a sense of humor will go a long way!

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$54,300.00 - $100,800.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
