We are seeking a detail-orientedEmployee Benefits Specialistto manage and administer employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness initiatives.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, claims, and general inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local benefits laws, including ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, and COBRA.
  • Manage relationships with benefits providers, brokers, and third-party administrators.
  • Process benefits enrollments, terminations, and changes in HRIS systems.
  • Conduct benefits orientations for new hires and provide ongoing education for employees.
  • Support annual open enrollment, including communications, system setup, and employee assistance.
  • Analyze benefits data, prepare reports, and recommend improvements to optimize cost and employee satisfaction.
  • Coordinate leave of absence programs, including FMLA, disability, and paid time off policies.
  • Assist in audits and compliance reporting as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in employee benefits administration or HR-related roles.
  • Knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and benefits management systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • HR certifications (e.g., CEBS, PHR, SHRM-CP) are a plus.
