Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States (Kansas) is seeking an experienced RFP/Proposal Analyst to manage the end-to-end response process for new and expanding business in the employee benefits space.

You will build strong relationships with Sales Representatives, Brokers, Underwriters, and Employers, and you will negotiate pricing and product enhancements while ensuring accuracy of all RFP documentation and quotes.

Qualifications

• Experience with group employee benefits products and underwriting guidelines.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and data handling is preferred.
• Strong ability to analyze RFPs for feasibility and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage the RFP (proposal) process for new business as well as existing/growing business
• Build and maintain meaningful, effective relationships with internal and external customers (Sales Representatives, Brokers, Underwriters, and Employers)
• Negotiate pricing, rate competitiveness, and product enhancements
• Analyze all RFP documents for underwriting feasibility, experience evaluation, and proposal accuracy
• Administer re‑quotes and corrections
• Manage Salesforce data input, stage updates, document uploads, reports, probability, and pipeline

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Group Employee Benefits Products, underwriting guidelines, Salesforce CRM preferred.
• Certifications/Licensures: Life and Disability insurance license for all states within office’s assigned territory required.
