Job description

We are Henderson Brothers, a fourth-generation, family-owned insurance brokerage firm in Pittsburgh PA, and we are looking for a proactive and client-focused Account Manager to lead the implementation and ongoing management of Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements (ICHRA) for our clients. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients and broker partners, ensuring seamless setup, execution, and support pre & post-enrollment. Success in this role will be driven by exceptional organizational, project management, and relationship-building skills, along with strong technological fluency.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead all phases of ICHRA implementation and serve as the main liaison for clients and broker partners
  • Manage multi-step plan setup tailored to each client's specific needs
  • Deliver high-touch post-enrollment support to address coverage, billing, and administrative issues
  • Leverage technology to streamline plan management and enhance reporting
  • Provide clear training and guidance to HR teams and employees on ICHRA policies and procedures
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Continuously improve workflows through problem-solving and process optimization
  • Local travel up to 30%, occasional domestic air travel
What You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in employee benefits account management or HR with a benefits focus preferred
  • Life, Accident, and Health License preferred (must obtain within 90 days of hire)
  • Strong understanding of employee health and welfare plans, including reimbursement models and compliance requirements
  • High proficiency with benefits administration platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Natural relationship builder with excellent communication abilities
  • Tech-savvy with a drive to innovate and optimize systems
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, build client relationships, and deliver tailored solutions
  • Ethical, service-oriented, and collaborative mindset
  • Experience with Epic or Applied Solutions is a plus
