Job summary

HUB International in Cincinnati is seeking an analytically minded, entry-level data analyst to conduct in-depth analysis on medical and pharmacy claims data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for clients.

You will work with a team of consultants and benefit from HUB's supportive culture, hands-on training, and opportunities to grow in health care analytics.

Required degree and strong math, communication, and Excel skills are preferred; travel is negligible.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree from an accredited university.
• Strong mathematical and organizational skills with quantitative support.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing reporting used by HUB clients to understand how their health care costs and utilization are tracking relative to expectations
• Analyzing health care claims data to provide clients with an understanding of what is driving their costs and what actions they might need to take in to manage their health care plans
• Coordinating annual processes across HUB functions that relate to annual health care planning and renewals for HUB clients
• Collaborating with internal Benefit Consultants to understand and address specific questions and needs of our clients
• Jumping in and supporting other team members to ensure all the work gets done on time
