ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports and demonstrates IMA's core values

- Interact professionally and timely with clients via email, phone, and in person
- MARKETING/RFPs
- Prepares RFPs for all ASO and fully insured submissions to market with Account Executive guidance
- Collects, manages, and reviews proposals
- Updates marketing results into spreadsheets ensuring accuracy for internal use and client presentations
- RENEWALS
- Requests renewals for all lines of coverage
- Ensures target renewal release dates are met by carriers
- Conducts initial review of plans, costs, and contract terms within renewal based on criteria from the Account Executive
- Provides recommendations to the Account Executive
- PARTNERSHIP & NEGOTIATION
- Follows direction from the Account Executive in negotiations with carriers
- Builds relationships with carrier and vendor partners
- UNDERWRITING & ANALYSIS
- Provides analysis of benchmarking, contributions, network disruption, and GeoAssess as requested by the Account Executive
- Performs underwriting for dental and vision plans
- REPORTING
- Manages outsourcing and ensures reporting needs are met
- Updates monthly claims reports for clients, providing written and oral summaries
- Builds custom financial/utilization reports as needed
- SYSTEMS/TECHNOLOGY
- Maintains and utilizes appropriate systems for job functions as determined by the department
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- 1 - 5 years of similar or related experience
- Preferably a college graduate with a 4-year degree or equivalent experience
- Proficient with MS Office Suites, with intermediate skills required
- Attain and maintain Life and Health license through continuing education
- Limited travel required (less than 25%)
- Understanding of underwriting concepts and actuarial computations
- Ability to analyze and interpret data
- Effective management of multiple projects while meeting deadlines
- Handle confidential information tactfully and discreetly
