Job summary

Palmer & Cay is seeking an Account Manager in Ridgeland, MS to manage client insurance programs, renewal processes, invoicing, and service delivery. You will coordinate underwriting data, assist with risk assessment efforts, and lead a small team to ensure timely client responses both in person and remotely.

You will work closely with the Branch Leader and Operations Manager, maintain Epic client data, and support new business development.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in insurance servicing accounts and ability to meet clients in person during open enrollment.
• License in health & life insurance preferred. Knowledge of fully-insured and self-insured.
• Knowledge of insurance company and brokerage business.
• Ability to travel to Lafayette, LA or Ridgeland, MS as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage client information in Epic to keep data accurate and current.
• Prepare and send written correspondence and reports; liaise with clients, insurers, and Palmer & Cay staff.
• Coordinate underwriting information for renewal planning and strategy 120 days prior to renewal dates.
• Assist in loss control responses andCompletion of Acord forms and submissions.
• Review quotes, proposals, and audit results for accuracy; assist in renewal proposals.
• Oversee client invoicing and AR aging; communicate issues to minimize non-payment risk.
• Maintain an open Items inventory and Schedule of Insurance; track policy expirations and renewal plans.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, insurers, and internal teams; support new business development.
