Operations Coordinator | Bringing People Together

POSITION: SENIOR BENEFITS ACCOUNT MANAGER

JOB TYPE: Full Time. Competitive salary, 100% paid-for benefits (health, dental, STD, LTD, etc.) and 401k! Hybrid work model.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and sustain strong connections with HR contacts and key stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for your clients, addressing their needs with precision and creativity.
  • Take charge of carrier implementations and renewals.
  • Develop and perfect all employee communications, from Benefit Guides to Open Enrollment presentations.
  • Plan and host annual Open Enrollment sessions, ensuring they are engaging and impactful.
  • Provide training to HR contacts on Employee Navigator and other Benefit Administration platforms.
  • Professionally manage and resolve any escalated employee-level issues.
  • Support client-facing meetings focused on opportunities, renewals, compliance, and more.
  • Nurture strong relationships within the carrier community and stay informed on industry trends.
  • Identify client needs and recommend innovative products and services.
  • Enhance your expertise in employee benefits through networking and ongoing professional development.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and federal laws that impact employee benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • An active license in Life and Health
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the employee benefits industry/insurance world
  • A talent for developing and nurturing positive relationships
  • Unparalleled commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to engage with key stakeholders including clients and prospects
  • Strong public speaking and presentation abilities
  • Extensive knowledge of insurance carriers and employee benefits
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe
  • A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
