Summa Health in Akron, Ohio is seeking a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) to join our employed physician group with an interest in pelvic medicine. The practice covers pelvic health services including pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy and related injections, with no obstetrics included.

The selected candidate will join Summa Health Medical Group, a large, multi-specialty group, with access to 24/7 anesthesia, radiology and subspecialty coverage, and

Qualifications

• Board certification in OB/GYN is required.
• Completion of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) fellowship is required.
• Unrestricted Ohio medical licensure or eligibility is required.
• Active involvement in medical student, resident, and fellow education.
• Commitment to evidence-based, standardized, patient-centered, team-based care.

Responsabilités

• Provide MIGS and pelvic medicine care within a multi-specialty Summa Health Medical Group.
• Engage in both in-office and operative duties with a 0.8–1.0 FTE expectation.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, radiology and women’s sub-specialty services.
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient care and documentation.
• Academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University as appropriate.
