Job summary

Trilogy Health Services, LLC in Lexington, KY is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct, quality clinical care and supervise nursing assistants on each unit. You’ll observe residents daily, respond to changes, and coordinate with the charge nurse and physician as needed.

The role includes performing admin tasks, monitoring medications and supplies, and ensuring safety and well-being for residents.

Qualifications

• Current, valid LPN license required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Visit residents on assigned unit daily to observe and evaluate each resident’s physical and emotional status and notify appropriate staff of changes.
• Identify resident problems and emergency situations and initiate lifesaving measures in the absence of a physician.
• Provide holistic care for residents within the scope of your LPN license.
• Assist in monitoring the inventory of medications, medical supplies and equipment to ensure adequate stock.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting as necessary.
• Report occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and hazardous chemicals per policy.
