Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Kansas LPN license or Kansas temporary LPN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Oversee and support Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Collect and report patient data.
• Reinforce patient education using TeachBack method.
• Assist with patient discharges and ongoing care planning.
• Engage patients and families in the plan of care.
• Respect and support patient treatment preferences.
• Help monitor and maintain unit supplies and equipment.
• Offer feedback to the Nurse Manager regarding annual budgets.
