Job summary

24 Hour Home Care seeks empathetic caregivers to provide in-home care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will follow care plans, give periodic progress updates to the care team, and assist with personal care, meals, companionship, and light housekeeping.

Pay rates for California assignments range from $16.90 to $20 per hour. Benefits include health coverage after 90 days, paid sick leave, a 401(k) plan, employee assistance, and other wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills required.
• Reliable and punctual with ability to travel as needed.
• Two references, at least one confirming disability-related experience.
• Proof of negative TB results; accommodations may be available.
• CPR and First Aid certifications; reimbursement may be available.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care to children, teens, and adults with I/DD.
• Follow individualized care plans and report progress to care team.
• Assist with personal care, meal prep, companionship, and light housekeeping.
• Record and communicate updates on client progress.
