Job summary

24 Hour Home Care is seeking empathetic caregivers to support children, teens, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs) in their homes. You will follow individualized client care plans and provide periodic progress updates to the care team.

Duties include personal care, meal prep, companionship, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Pay rates range from $16.90 to $20 per hour, varying by location and services.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and attentive caregiving for individuals with I/DD in home settings.
• Two references, including at least one with disability-related experience.
• Proof of negative TB results and potential accommodations or waivers.
• Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid certifications; reimbursement may be available.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care following individualized care plans.
• Give periodic progress updates to the care team.
