Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.
• Current driver\'s license, vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws governing speech therapy, in accordance with the plan of care and in coordination with the health care team.
• Evaluates function and assists in development of the therapy plan of care.
• Treat patients to communicate effectively by expressing thoughts according to the patient\'s condition.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and changes in condition.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in speech therapy areas they can participate in.
• Function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
