Responsibilities

• Assists in developing procedures and training materials for students with emotional disabilities to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Attends meetings as requested (inservice, workshops, IEPs) for information exchange.
• Conducts workshops and training to develop skills and positive relationships with behavior-disordered students.
• Implements programs under teacher direction to improve academic/life skills per IEP.
• Instructs students one-on-one or in small groups and performs clerical tasks to support instruction.
• Prepares written or audiovisual materials for conveying student information.
