Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Development Test Engineer to evaluate and improve gasoline engine aftertreatment performance, supporting regulatory standards and future powertrains. You will work on engine hardware, exhaust sensors, control strategies, calibration, and integration into propulsion systems at the Chrysler Technology Center in Auburn Hills, MI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Automotive, Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical/Computer Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 2+ years in hardware, controls, or calibration for ICE/hybrid powertrains and emissions systems.
• Experience with emissions test cycles and data acquisition systems (INCA, CAS, AVL Concerto, etc.).
• Familiarity with engine/hardware, OBD, and propulsion systems; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct/schedule day-to-day engine/PT dynamometer or vehicle testing.
• Develop emissions systems solutions balancing cost, performance and regulatory requirements.
• Optimize calibration of engine and emissions hardware.
• Investigate competitor emissions strategies and diagnostics.
• Plan and lead multiple technology development projects with suppliers.
