Job summary

Opus is seeking a Station Supervisor in Joliet, IL to support the station management in daily operations and IEPA program compliance. The role covers remitter tasks, information dissemination, and coordination with staff to maintain efficient vehicle inspections.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and a good driving record, with prior vehicle inspection experience preferred. This on-site position pays $19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Vehicle inspection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the station manager and assistant manager in the overall operation of the inspection station.
• Provide assistance with the remitter program.
• Assist with manpower needs of the station.
• Performs overt auditing when directed by the station manager or assistant manager.
• Performs waiver inspections on all applicable vehicles, and grants waivers according to IEPA guidelines.
• Travels to other stations as needed to provide staffing support.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the station manager.
