Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required with Department of Labor Certification OR Associates degree from an accredited program in a related field and at least two years of relevant experience OR Bachelors degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Conducts performance and reliability testing on engines, components, systems, and controls; diagnoses problems and initiates resolutions.
• Configures and operates data acquisition systems; analyzes data; writes programs to assist analysis; interprets results and documents data.
• Performs rig, engine and component builds, tear down, and inspections; grades and measures components.
• Creates sketches for machining and fabricates piping, tubing, and brackets from prints and drawings.
• Installs engines and instrumentation in test cells and test rigs.
• Uses tools such as Calterm, Asset, Cyflex.
• Designs, documents, and executes test plans; prepares test reports with findings and recommendations.
• Works with safety policies, confidentiality, and audits; interfaces with customers and suppliers.
• Coordinates programs including planning, scheduling, ordering, and tracking.
