Job summary

Onterris, Inc. is seeking an OGI Field Technician to perform hydrocarbon fugitive emission and leak detection at oil and gas facilities. You will work with state-of-the-art detection technologies in the field and collect emission data for reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Oil and Gas industry; preference for natural gas processing/transmission facilities.
• Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office; comfortable with Android OS.
• Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Engineering technology degree or related technical diploma is preferred; related hydrocarbon detection experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and navigate to multiple facilities using maps and GPS.
• Calibrate and maintain field equipment.
• Operate detection and measurement technologies under supervision.
• Collect and record emission data in the field.
• Prepare field reports as required.
