Job summary

Jefferson Township Local School District is seeking an EMIS/SIS Coordinator & Central Office Support to manage the district's EMIS and SIS data, reporting, and records. The role requires strong organizational skills and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure accurate, timely state reporting.

The position reports to the Superintendent and serves as backup Central Office support, helping maintain data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with Ohio requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Education, Data Analytics or related field, or substantial experience with SIS/EMIS.
• Experience with Ohio EMIS reporting, student information systems, and data management.
• Knowledge of ODEW reporting requirements and school district operations.
• Experience handling confidential student and personnel records.
• Strong computer and data-analytic skills; ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work across departments and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• EMIS Coordination and State Reporting: manage collection, validation, and submission of EMIS data.
• SIS management: maintain student demographics, enrollment, attendance, courses, and graduations.
• Special Education records: ensure confidential handling and compliant reporting.
• Data quality and compliance: audit data, resolve discrepancies, monitor funding implications.
• Collaboration and training: provide guidance and maintain procedural documentation.
• Central Office support: assist the Superintendent and act as backup administrative staff.
