Lincoln Manufactruing, LLC seeks an EMI Inspector to perform electromagnetic inspection of OCTG at our Houston facility. The role includes equipment setup, system checks, evaluation of indications, and maintaining accurate inspection records.

Responsibilities include operating EMI equipment, documenting results, marking suspect pipe, and ensuring traceability with work orders. Requires high school diploma and OCTG inspection experience; Level II training preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OCTG inspection experience, including hands-on EMI equipment operation.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to recognize inspection signals and distinguish defects.
• Basic computer skills and accurate inspection records.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and good communication with Quality and Production.
• Ability to meet training, experience, examination, and vision requirements for NDT duties.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate EMI equipment for pipe size, wall thickness and inspection requirements.
• Perform and document standardization and system checks using reference standards.
• Monitor inspection signals, identify indications, and evaluate results.
• Follow up using approved methods or refer indications to qualified personnel.
• Identify, mark, and segregate suspect or rejected pipe to prevent shipment.
• Maintain traceability between inspected material and work order.
• Complete inspection reports, equipment checks, and rejection records.
• Verify work orders and inspection requirements before starting; stop if unclear.
• Communicate equipment problems, findings and quality concerns promptly to Quality and Production.
• Perform routine equipment care and keep workspace organized.
