Mass General Brigham is seeking an EMG technologist to perform nerve conduction studies, quantitative sensory testing, and autonomic function testing, while assisting physicians in EMG procedures. You will collaborate with neurodiagnostic staff to manage patient flow and ensure accurate documentation and billing.

Based at 52 Second Avenue, the role supports a typical 40-hour week, with daytime shifts and a focus on patient safety, quality testing, and professional growth within the EMG Lab.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree in related field preferred.
• CNCT or AAET certification within 2 years of hire preferred.
• EMG Tech I–II experience preferred (0–2 years)

Aufgaben

• Prepare EMG testing rooms and maintain equipment.
• Review schedules and plan patient flow.
• Calibrate EMG instrument for standard recordings and obtain NCS results.
• Prepare patient with surface electrodes and document results.
• Explain tests to patients and obtain cooperation; review orders.
• Assist physicians with EMG/NCS and record findings.
• Enter billing codes post-study for report signing.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the work area.
