Job summary

A premier health care destination in New Jersey is seeking an EMG Tech Lead to assist with nerve conduction studies and oversee technicians. The ideal candidate should have an Associate's degree, an accredited EMG training, and at least five years of experience in the EMG field. Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in the EMG field required, preferably within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the EMG physician with performing basic nerve conduction studies.
• Train/precept new technicians/physicians in all areas of NCS/EMG and other neurodiagnostic studies.
• Provide direct oversight/reporting of EMG techs.

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Electrodiagnostic Technologist registration

Troubleshooting equipment

Education

Associate's degree or higher

Completion of an accredited EMG training program

Regulatory agency certification (ABEM and/or AAET)
