Job summary

System Support is seeking an EMG Coordinator for the EMG unit at Miami Valley North. The part-time schedule includes Monday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM and Tuesday–Friday 12:00 PM–4:00 PM, supporting outpatient and inpatient EMG testing.

The role involves prep and escort duties, documentation distribution, billing entry, and general secretarial tasks. Strong customer service and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• High School completion or GED required.
• Experience in patient scheduling or hospital/physician office environment preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer applications.
• Familiarity with the registration process; ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Schedules outpatient and inpatient EMG testing.
• Preps patient testing areas and escorts patients to testing areas.
• Distributes transcribed documentation to physicians in a timely manner.
• Maintains billing documentation and enters charges; verifies accuracy.
• Answers phones, relays messages, and performs general EMG service area tasks.
• Orders supplies and maintains appropriate supply levels.
