Job summary

Vanderbilt Health seeks a Neurodiagnostic Technologist (EEG/NCV) to perform routine testing and support neonatal to adult patients in the Franklin Neurology unit. The role requires EMG/NCV experience and proficiency in EEG procedures, with responsibilities spanning patient prep, data collection, and collaboration with senior staff.

You will participate in department operations, contribute to training of colleagues, and uphold safety and care standards in a dynamic clinical setting.

Qualifications

• EMG/NCV experience is REQUIRED.
• Demonstrates mastery of neurodiagnostic procedures across EEG and related modalities.
• Certified EEG technologist qualifications or equivalent clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs Neurodiagnostic procedures (EEG and at least one other modality) per department policies.
• Educates patient and family about the procedure appropriate to age and learning level.
• Assist Lead Neurodiagnostic Lab Technologist in oversight and training of staff.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
