Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Junior Utilities Operations Supervisor for on-site work in Gurabo, PR. The role oversees daily field operations, staff supervision, and system maintenance of water, sewer, or power utilities, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The candidate should have a high school diploma (associate/technical preferred) and 2–4 years of related hands-on experience. Valid driver’s license and basic English proficiency are required; visa sponsorship is not

Qualifications

High school diploma required; associate/technical degree preferred.
2–4 years hands-on experience in pharma works, facility maintenance, or utility operations.
Valid driver’s license and relevant entry-level state water/wastewater or trade certifications.
Basic computer literacy and leadership potential; problem-solving skills for equipment failures.
Intermediate English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Direct daily crew assignments, schedule repair work orders, inspect active job sites.
Train new technicians, track performance, coordinate shift schedules.
Monitor safety and efficiency of utility networks (water distribution or sewage).
Enforce local, state, and federal safety rules (EPA, OSHA, CFR, etc.).
Prepare basic operational reports, track material inventory, assist budgets.
