FirstEnergy Corp. is seeking a Distribution Program Manager to lead and coordinate multi-state regulatory compliance programs and energy infrastructure initiatives across our service territories.

The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, regulatory analysis, and program implementation for FERC Order 2222, BESS, DER, Grid Modernization, and Electrification projects. Reporting to the HQ and potentially located at any FirstEnergy site, this position requires strong project management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related discipline and 5+ years utility distribution experience.
• 5 years of project management experience or the equivalent.
• Experience with regulatory environments and/or utility programs preferred.
• Ability to work across multiple departments and locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of FERC Order 2222 compliance activities across PJM and multiple states.
• Manage DER Interconnections program including comments, RFI responses, and filings.
• Oversee Energy Storage programs from charter through construction management, including RFPs.
• Direct cross-functional workgroups and consultant engagement for regulatory reporting.
