Job summary

Polluxa, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking an Emerging Technology Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team of AI engineers, full-stack developers, and low-code experts. You will drive PoCs, evaluate emerging tech, and scale pilots into production-ready solutions.

You will advise executives on strategic investments, define the technology roadmap, and bridge early-stage innovation with enterprise-scale implementations. This role requires strong leadership and deep tech expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, data science or technology innovation and 3+ years in a leadership/managerial role
• Travel 10-20%
• Work Schedule: 7 AM–5 PM, Mon-Fri; flexibility to meet business needs

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of Innovation Engineers, AI Engineers, and Developers.
• Define and drive the enterprise roadmap for adopting emerging technologies.
• Oversee the design, development, and testing of prototypes and PoC solutions.
• Assess new technologies and vendor solutions for strategic alignment and ROI.
• Partner with business leaders to identify challenges and deliver innovative, technology-driven solutions.
• Bridge early-stage innovation and scalable enterprise implementation.
• Stay current on industry trends in AI, blockchain, edge computing, etc.
• Manage the innovation budget and resources.
• Demonstrate a proven track record delivering AI-driven initiatives.
• Apply expertise in full-stack development, AI/ML frameworks, and low-code platforms.
• Build relationships with stakeholders for alignment and delivery.
